The yelp map location is a block off but I ordered Mexican omelette and bacon sides. I enjoyed my breakfast and plenty of coffee. Very reasonable price. Recommended for breakfast. Thank you.

Just terrible. Burnt sausage and premade sausage gravy. Sausage gravy is just so easy to make. Fry sausage. Add flour, pepper and milk. You got gravy. Instead they served brown premade gravy. It was terrible. Even McDonald's can make a decent sausage gravy. You'd think a place like this could. Especially for $6.99 for 2 eggs, 2 sausage patties, a single biscuit and gravy.
We literally left and got egg mcmuffins because we were still hungry and so disappointed we wanted something decent to eat. -

I'm a first time customer here. My husband and I bought breakfast. We both got the "Hillbilly Breakfast". This included country ham, 2 eggs, hash browns, & biscuits and gravy. I also got a side of bacon. The bacon was the best part of the entire meal. Biscuits were at least a day old, the gravy was very bland and tasted only of flour. Hash browns were undercooked and the eggs had a funny taste. Country ham must have been over cooked or old and reheated. I feel horrible about making this review but all of the reviews I have seen have been 4-5 star reviews and I have to disagree. I hope the people who own this business read this with great concern. Maybe then they will update and change their recipes. This would definitely bring in more customers.

Coffee is so weak it's like they reused the grounds; tastes like an ashtray smells. The gravy was made with bacon grease instead of chicken broth. The eggs are super small. NO TOLIET PAPER in the only women's bathroom. Peeeeee-U!
One star for the excellent small biscuit. (You should have given me 2.)
I agree with the other 1 star review; keep going about 12 mike north and get a MICKY-D's. -

This is not where you want to eat breakfast if you want a decent meal. My honest plea to you would be to keep driving if you can, and find another place. If you decide to eat there, you can't say I didn't give you fair warning here.
We stopped because we needed to eat breakfast after visiting nearby at lake Cumberland. This was the only choice besides another similar restaurant down the road.
I have a feeling we picked the wrong one: aka the greater of two evils.
The breakfast was far below sub par on many levels.
When you walk in, the place is definitely nothing spectacular to look at. It looked like a poor throw back/time warp to the 50's. I deducted that the restaurant was named appropriately.
It was full of a smattering of elderly locals that probably hang out there quite a bit. They all seemed to know each other and were busy chatting about the news in their lives and the happenings of the day. If I can say anything positive about the experience it was that scenario. It was charming and pleasant in of itself.
The waitress was devoid of any spunk or general joy. The coffee was heated and weak flavored swill water, and when the breakfast arrived, the only thing worth eating were the eggs and the biscuits. The hash browns were underdone and cold. The toast was nothing special, and grits were cold too.
The tenderloins that were served with one breakfast were tasteless, mangled and/or unrecognizable.
The sausage gravy they served with the biscuits was the worst I have ever had. It was dark brown in color, had a burned flavor and was mostly devoid of any sausage. That's always a huge disappointment because I really like and can appreciate a good biscuits and gravy breakfast.
The 'butter' they served was not real butter. It was poison - margarine.
I didn't bother to ask for butter, because I just figured (and was pretty confident by that point) that it was not available. I was afraid our waitress would have looked at me like I thought I was some kind of alien prima donna for having the nerve to ask about such a thing as the 'luxury' of real tasty butter. After all, seriously,.....real is real, and plastic is plastic.
We choked down what we could handle and got out of there asap.
$30.00 total for three people, for that non edible torture. It should really be a bonafide crime. OUCH.
